About the MCF
The Microscopy Core Facility (MCF) located at the Institute of Molecular Biosciences (IMB-Graz) of the University of Graz provides cutting-edge imaging infrastructure (e.g. coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy, second harmonic generation (SHG) microscopy, two-photon microscopy, high-end confocal microscopy) for biomedical research. The MCF is integral part of ongoing high-profile, large-scale projects, such as SFB Lipid Hydrolysis, and of the field of excellence 'BioHealth'. In addition, the MCF tightly cooperates with BioTechMed-Graz (https://biotechmedgraz.at/), the inter-university strategic cooperation of the University of Graz, Medical University of Graz and Graz University of Technology, with PhD programs as well as with NAWI Graz (https://www.nawigraz.at/). The facility is open for all researchers within the University of Graz but also for external groups and institutions.
Operative skills are essential to use the CFM (see: "Access").
